HELP WANTED

If you are interested in serving with a great group of people, we have two openings in our Usher Teams beginning this September.  Ushers usually serve about once every six weeks or so.  It's a really easy way to serve in the life of our church!! Don't miss out - we'd love to have you!! For additional Usher info, check out the .pdf document below this section.

Contact Frank Lehmann, our Chief Usher, to volunteer or for more information.

Tellers needed - We are in need of a few more tellers/subs to help count the receipts on Sunday morning once a month.  You do not need any financial background, just 45 minutes or so after service to prepare a sheet and deposit slip.  You will be paired with someone who has experience and Dan Intemann, our Financial Secretary will show you the ropes.  If you would be interested or want to find out more, please contact Dan Intemann or the Church Office.

Sunday School is looking for volunteers - Our family is so blessed to have a great group of kids!  Volunteering at Sunday School is a great way to get to know them and connect with them.  See Kim Burton, Sandy Ciafardini, or Paula Sherman.

Another dream come true!

From our list of Just Do It dreams - a place for our church members to share recipes with one another.  Did you make a dreamy dessert?  Or a dish that you brought to a church dinner?  Did you receive compliments?     Share it here!

SPONSOR-A-FAMILY AND PANTRY VOLUNTEERS

THANK YOU!!

On behalf of the Ecumenical Lay Council Robin Newton and I wish to thank all of our congregants who graciously and generously offered their gifts, time and talent to the annual Sponsor-A-Family Ministry and Pantry Volunteers during the month of December.

The Sponsor-A-Family gift donations greatly exceeded what we asked for and I know how very much those gifts meant to local families who didn't have the means to provide what was now a meaningful Christmas for their young children. We even provided gift cards for them to purchase holiday food to make their holidays even more special.

The pantry volunteers filled the December dates from Monday-Thursday and based on the feedback received, the Northport-East Northport pantry was blessed with the holiday spirit and help that they all provided to the

clients. We also heard of the wonderful heartfelt experience that all of our people felt in so many ways after meeting the people who utilize the pantry. It was a true blessing and learning opportunity for all involved.

We felt that this was a true Christian outreach ministry for people right in our own communities. The clients are extremely thankful for what we do and thank us at every chance they can.

God Bless All of our Church participants. Blessings, Frank Lehmann and Robin Newton
